Part 2 là phần thi yêu cầu nói trong 2 phút hoặc hơn về một chủ đề nào đó với các cue card gợi ý được giám khảo đưa ra. Với việc nói liền mạch trong 2 phút, bạn cần chuẩn bị kỹ với 1 phút mà giám khảo cho phép nên hãy học và luyện thật nhiều, cách đưa ra ý tưởng, nói ấn tượng hơn nhé.
Để học tốt Part 2, các bạn có thể tham khảo công thức A.R.E.A giúp hình thành ý tưởng và cấu trúc tốt hơn.
Mỗi câu trả lời sẽ đi theo “Công thức A.R.E.A”. Trong đó:
A – Answer: Đưa ra câu trả lời trực tiếp cho câu hỏi.
R – Reason: Đưa ra lý do cho câu trả lời.
E – Example: Đưa ra ví dụ cụ thể cho câu trả lời.
A – Alternatives: Có thể đưa ra ý kiến phản bác cho câu hỏi.
Các bạn nên nói hết phần Answer, Reason và Example để đảm bảo đủ ý còn với phần Alternatives có thể có hoặc không.
Tư duy A.R.E.A giúp bạn có một bộ khung chắc chắn đối với mỗi câu hỏi. Với A.R.E.A, bạn sẽ triển khai từng ý từ từng bước giúp bạn đi theo logic mạch lạc hơn.

- You should say:

The subject that I’m gonna talk about is literature and I’m sure that not a lot of people are keen on this subject when they are in high school. My gripe with high school literature was that most of the writings in the textbook were written a long time ago, and although they were presented in context, and the teacher did explain why they were popular when they were published, I still found those literary works completely not resonate with me at all.
And I think this is the main reason why I got all fed up with high school literature.
Beside that, as I was becoming an adult I went back and read books assigned (chia động từ) in high school and I was like, “why the did they assign these for teenagers?” because much of the comprehension happens after experiencing life while high school students are too inexperienced to understand all the symbols presented in the works.
But when I got to university and took the first literature course here, I found that I was able to feel more engaged while reading when I started thinking about assigned reading less as “work” and more as stories, characters for me to indulge in. I started to have a lot of interest in reading and writing. I also look for more books to read whenever I have free time.
I realize that reading helps reduce stress and provide comfort. If you are facing problems in your life you can escape reality by reading an interesting novel. Reading can make your imagination run wild and put you in a world of your own.
One more thing is that exposure to published, well-written work has a noted effect on my own writing, as observing the cadence, fluidity, and writing styles of other authors, my writing is influenced invariably.
